Jirka has been working in the legal profession since 2017, with four years as a trainee and the third year as a legal associate. He gained his previous experience through internships at leading law firms and also in the criminal department of the district court.

He successfully passed the state final exam and defended his thesis with an excellent rating. In 2022, he passed the rigorous examination, earning him the title Doctor of Law (JUDr.), and he continues his studies as an external Ph.D. student in cooperation with the university. He has experience leading the editorial board of a professional journal and has authored numerous professional and popular publications in the fields of civil, commercial, and criminal law.

His focus areas are tax law, criminal law, and international judicial cooperation in criminal matters, but he also adeptly handles cases in commercial and civil law, including contractual matters. He works professionally in English (recently passing the CAE exam at C2 level) and can also communicate in French and Russian.

In his free time, he enjoys teaching criminal law at the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno and engages in sports, particularly long-distance running and fitness.
